There are so many forms of artwork throughout America, including our flag and our architecture. Maya Lin has also accomplished many things. She was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Lettersas well as the ANtional Women's Hall of Fame. She also won a public design competition for the Vietnam Vetrans Memorial. She was the subject of an award-winning documentary "Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision. She designed a Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama. She also designed the Wave Field at University of Michigan. Overall, Maya Lin has done many things to benefit America's artistic culture.
